The Swordsman 33 with its subtly flared shearline and classic bow design is synonymous with style and performance plus excellent sea keeping qualities. This classic Swordsman was built for the 1964 International Offshore Cowes to Torquay Powerboat Race and although she did not win she performed well and was placed. They became very successful powerboats with 56 of this model built between 1963 and 1974 with over 40 still in service today. Only a few were built with wheelhouses for which there was no standard design. As the first owner intended to cruise the more northerly latitudes a wheelhouse was a must.
The current owner fell in love with the marque when he worked for Fairey Marine for many years but after 11 years of ownership this is now a reluctant sale so she is looking for a new skipper who equally appreciates the marque.

BROKERS COMMENTS
This is an opportunity to buy a true Classic Motor Cruiser with an interesting pedigree. The owner has a full list of past owners which makes for interesting reading and a copy of a painting that was commissioned by one of the previous titled owners.
Also available by separate negotiation is an extremely rare and sought after 'Fairey Dinky' which is the hot moulded tender made by the Fairey Marine apprentices.
